This is a great opportunity for exposure to the workings of academic and specialized libraries.
Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Participate in the library’s reference rotation schedule by assisting patrons through in-person, phone, email, and chat services.
- Provide general reference support for the Penn Libraries, including chat reference.
- Participate in developing workshops and online tutorials.
- Maintain and improve guides to information resources.
- Assist Librarians with projects related to systematic reviews, bioinformatics, research impact assessment, knowledge management and data visualization.

- Flexible hours 10-20 hours per week.
Qualifications:
- All applicants must be enrolled in a Master’s degree program in Library/Information Science.
- A science background is not required.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Experience or interest in participating on research projects.
- Service orientation.
- Tech-savvy.
- Attention to detail.
- Excited to learn

Budgeted Pay Range:
$15.00 -- $20.00 commensurate with education and experience.
