KBR's Defense Systems Engineering, Naval Solutions Division, is seeking a Security Administrative Assistant/Specialist(TS/SCI Clearance)to join our team in Lexington Park, MD. This position supports the NAVAIR PMA-231 Advanced Hawkeye Command and Control platform office. The successful candidate will collaborate with other professionals to provide support services through the Security Office.
Workplace Setting: Full Time On Site, M-F. This position is not eligible for remote work.
Responsibilities:
Maintaining an Automated Document Control Database (ADCS) ensures accountability and tracking are maintained. Maintains program facility accreditation files, including physical accreditations and personnel files. Maintains visitor control in the facility, including providing visitor badges, escorting uncleared visitors, and verifying visitor clearance information using customer-approved databases.
Conducts inventories of controlled and accountable material. The candidate will maintain document control/database records to include the creation, receipt, dispatch, tracking, and destruction of documents and media through electronic and physical transmissions per policy and facility guidelines. Maintains media for correct markings and application of cover sheets as necessary. Executes corporate clearance processing for security personnel, processing DISS queries and visitor requests, and verifying access authorization.
Assess, develop, and implement security policies and procedures that help ensure classified information is protected in all stages at all times.Maintains the Risk Management Framework (RMF) process and the Joint Special Access Program Implementation Guide (JSIG).Maintains all purchase card documentation to meet contract requirements. Responsible for backing up the Security Lead as necessary.
Basic Qualifications:
Clearance: A current Top Secret Clearance with a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) completed within the last 5 years is required. Applicant selected may be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
Education: BS/BA Degree (8+ years of additional work experience is accepted in lieu of a degree).
Experience:
- Must have experience with the Department of Defense (DoD) 5205.07 Volumes 1-4 and ICD 705 directives.
- Must be able to conduct security briefings, including indoctrination debriefings, and administer Security Education Training Awareness (SETA), which supports SAPs.
- Experience creating PARs in the JADE system.
- Must have experience with investigating losses and security violations and recommend corrective actions.
