Key Responsibilities:
  • Network Configuration and Management: Configure, upgrade, support, and monitor Cisco routers and switches to ensure compliance with security policy, procedures, and technical requirements.
  • Access Control and Security: Develop and implement access control lists for Cisco routers, Cisco and NetGear switches, as well as SonicWall, NetGear, and Cisco firewalls.
  • Disaster Recovery and Backup: Develop and implement back-up and disaster recovery procedures to ensure business continuity.
  • Network Performance and Troubleshooting: Evaluate and troubleshoot network performance issues using Wireshark and Fluke.
  • COMSEC and Encryption: Manage COMSEC keying material and equipment for multiple locations, capable of configuring and administering NSA-approved Type I encryption devices in accordance with applicable EKMS 1B policies and guidelines.
  • Cyber Security and Patching: Update and maintain Cyber Security system patching, vulnerability assessments using ACAS vulnerability scanner, DISA STIGS, and Security Content Automation Protocol (SCAP) in accordance with RMF/JSIG, Rev 4, and as amended.
Required Skills:
  • Active DoD Top Secret clearance (SCI eligible)
  • 3+ years of experience as a Network Admin, including experience updating and maintaining security system patching
  • 3+ years of experience working with Cisco routers and switches
  • Experience with SonicWall and NetGear
Preferred Skills:
  • Wireshark and Fluke
