The Opportunity:
As a program management specialist, you know the complexities of supporting a project from concept to completion. Many programs require a significant investment of limited resources, and it’s imperative to keep the project on a productive path. That’s why we need you, an experienced program management specialist who can help ensure success through careful analysis and effective communication.
On our team, you’ll implement and maintain organizational programs in support of the Department of Defense. You’ll work with key stakeholders to review contracts and project cost accounting. You’ll help with tactical planning using resources like MS Project, PowerPoint, and regular interactions with SMEs, schedulers, customers, and project analysts.
You will join a team of dedicated project management professionals and provide management and oversight of next generation CJADC2 capabilities and services to a multitude of senior defense clients under the direct supervision of the program manager. You’ll establish and manage the program’s cost, scope, schedule, risk, and quality delivery of capabilities, services, and deliverables associated with the work. You’ll work with supporting teams, including architects, engineers, data integration, military SME, and Agile professionals, to ensure timely and quality delivery of capabilities and services throughout the period of performance. You’ll provide input to executive level reports delivered to the clients on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis around cost, schedule, scope, quality metrics, and service objectives. You’ll facilitate discussions with key stakeholders on project statuses, working sessions, technical exchange meetings, and milestone reviews. You’ll lead a large team, including overseeing staff, scheduling, and client deliverables, and develop and train project leads and project expediters to grow and enhance their expertise as project managers.

You Have:
1+ years of experience in a DoD, Intelligence, or Aerospace environment
1+ years of experience with technical work such as software development
Experience in program management, including in contracting
Knowledge of Agile processes and the SAFe Agile Framework
TS/SCI clearance
Bachelor’s degree
Nice If You Have:
Experience working with government and military members directly
Knowledge of DoD staff processes
Knowledge of software development processes and tools, including Jira or Scrum
Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
