The Opportunity:
As a program management specialist, you know the complexities of supporting a project from concept to completion. Many programs require a significant investment of limited resources, and it’s imperative to keep the project on a productive path. That’s why we need you, an experienced program management specialist who can help ensure success through careful analysis and effective communication.
On our team, you’ll implement and maintain organizational programs in support of the Department of Defense. You’ll work with key stakeholders to review contracts and project cost accounting. You’ll help with tactical planning using resources like MS Project, PowerPoint, and regular interactions with SMEs, schedulers, customers, and project analysts.
You will join a team of dedicated project management professionals and provide management and oversight of next generation CJADC2 capabilities and services to a multitude of senior defense clients under the direct supervision of the program manager. You’ll establish and manage the program’s cost, scope, schedule, risk, and quality delivery of capabilities, services, and deliverables associated with the work. You’ll work with supporting teams, including architects, engineers, data integration, military SME, and Agile professionals, to ensure timely and quality delivery of capabilities and services throughout the period of performance. You’ll provide input to executive level reports delivered to the clients on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis around cost, schedule, scope, quality metrics, and service objectives. You’ll facilitate discussions with key stakeholders on project statuses, working sessions, technical exchange meetings, and milestone reviews. You’ll lead a large team, including overseeing staff, scheduling, and client deliverables, and develop and train project leads and project expediters to grow and enhance their expertise as project managers.
The real impact of project management comes from communication to ensure the program achieves its goals and meets our quality standards. At Booz Allen, we recognize that we must continuously grow as a team to bring the best support to our clients, so here you’ll have all the resources to succeed. This is a chance to influence a meaningful mission while learning how to develop and maintain program strategy.
