Our client, located in the heart of downtown Nashville, is looking to add a Facilities and Logistics Clerk to their team.

This is a contract-to-hire opportunity, and a fantastic chance to join a well-known organization in a facilities admin role.
 
Responsibilities
  • Mailroom Management to include receiving, sorting and distributing mail and packages
  • Ensure timely and accurate shipping and receiving of packages, utilizing appropriate tracking systems.
  • Coordinate and perform delivers within the office to the various departments
  • Maintain a schedule to ensure prompt delivery
  • Kitchen and pantry management to include managing pantry supplies and inventory
  • Ordering and replenishing pantry items regularly and maintaining relationships with suppliers
  • Office Supply Management to include monitoring and managing office supply inventory, and placing orders for office supplies as needed
  • Assist with general office support to include setting up meeting rooms, assisting with office moves
  • Perform physical tasks such as lifting, moving, and organizing packages, supplies, and office furniture
  • Assist with events to include providing support for company events to include setting up and breaking down

Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Former experience in office support
  • Organizational Skills: Strong ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities efficiently
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and moving heavy mail (must be able to lift up to 50 lbs)
  • Professional Development: Opportunities for training and development in areas such as logistics, inventory management, administration, and customer service.
  • Proven experience working in shipping/receiving is ideal. Experience with FedEx, USPS a plus.
