Job Title: Video Engineer


Location: Downtown Dallas, TX


Pay: $65.00/hour


Responsibilities: A Video Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining video and audio systems. They ensure the smooth operation of video equipment for various applications, including live events, broadcasting, and streaming.

  • Set Up and Installation: Install and configure video equipment, including cameras, monitors, switchers, and audio systems.

  • Maintenance: Regularly maintain and troubleshoot video equipment to ensure optimal performance.

  • Operation: Operate video equipment during live events, broadcasts, and recordings.

  • Calibration: Calibrate video equipment to meet broadcast standards for color and sound quality.

  • Technical Support: Provide technical support and resolve issues related to video and audio systems.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with production teams, directors, and other technical staff to achieve desired video and audio quality.


Job Requirements:

  • A bachelor s degree in video production, electrical engineering, or a related field is often preferred

  • Previous experience in video production or engineering roles is beneficial

  • Proficiency in operating and troubleshooting video equipment.

  • Attention to Detail: Ability to calibrate equipment accurately.

  • Problem-Solving: Strong troubleshooting skills to resolve technical issues quickly.

  • Communication: Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members.

  • Physical Stamina: Ability to handle and transport video equipment, which may involve physical labor

  • HS Diploma or GED required
