The Behavioral Health Neurology needed at U.T. Medical Center. The service consists of 3 part-time physicians and 4 full-time nurse practitioners. The Behavioral Health service provides consultation on a variety of psychiatric problems such as suicide attempts/concerns, competency assessments, and inpatient psychiatric commitment decisions. The Behavioral Health service follows patients in the hospital to facilitate care by making recommendations for further psychiatric care both inpatient and outpatient.
