About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Behavioral Health Clinician to join our team at the McNabb Center. This role will be responsible for providing crisis services, including evaluation, counseling, triage, and discharge planning, to individuals experiencing a mental health crisis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct care through crisis services, including assessment, intervention, and stabilization of individuals in crisis.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Conduct intake assessments and complete supporting documentation for possible more restrictive placements.
  • Participate in administrative team meetings and respond to flags, emails, and voicemails in a timely manner.

Requirements

  • Master's degree from an accredited college or university in a health-related field, such as counseling, psychology, social work, or behavioral science.
  • Experience working in a crisis setting and triage, preferably with individuals with severe and persistent mental illness, co-occurring disorders, and dual diagnosis disorders.
  • Licensed or license-eligible in their state or region.
  • Certification in verbal and physical de-escalation techniques, including therapeutic holding.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

Working Conditions

Salary Range: $54,631 per year, based on relevant experience and education.
