Description:You will be a Reliability Engineer developing, coordinating and conducting technical reliability studies for the Apache M-TADS/M-PNVS, TSS and LBFCR programs.

What You Will Be Doing
As the Reliability Engineer, you will:

Participate in the execution of reliability, maintainability, testability and system safety activities.

Monitor FRACAS trends to identify System BIT improvements and Analysis of Fault Isolation Procedures (FIPs) to resolve field issues.

Compile and analyze performance reports and process control statistics; investigate and analyze relevant variables potentially affecting product and processes, and as necessary, proposes changes in design or formulation to improve system and/or process reliability.

Perform Failure Modes, Effects, and Criticality Analysis (FMECA).

Analyze preliminary plans and develops reliability engineering programs to achieve company, customer and governmental agency reliability objectives.

Recommend design or test methods and statistical process control procedures for achieving required levels of product reliability.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position requires the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering discipline or equivalent experience/combined education, with 3 years of professional experience; or a related Master’s degree.

Reliability Engineering experience

Possess strong computer skills, including in-depth knowledge of MS Office software.

Possess excellent written and oral communication skills on technical subjects.

Ability to obtain a Secret security clearance.
Desired Skills:
Previous experience with FRACAS and FMECA evaluations for testability activities.

Demonstrated ability of solving complex problems which require ingenuity and innovation.

Good communicator able to work in a team collaboration environment.

Previous Apache experience in MTADS/MPNVS Systems
Active Secret clearance preferred.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
