We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineering Specialist to join our team in Orlando, FL. This mid-senior level role is ideal for a professional with a strong background in electrical and controls engineering, ready to contribute to large-scale projects and drive innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of engineering principles and their practical applications
  • Design and optimize control systems for long-term reliability and efficiency
  • Perform detailed engineering calculations and analysis, including stress, fatigue, reliability, and life expectancy assessments
  • Create designs from scratch, avoiding reliance on copying and modifying existing designs
  • Utilize 3D modeling software (preferably SolidWorks) and AutoCAD for design work
  • Provide expert insights on engineering decisions and design choices

This role involves working on automation and control system integration projects for clients in industries such as entertainment and manufacturing. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on challenging projects that require innovative thinking and deep engineering knowledge.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field with relevant experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in controls engineering, covering most of the responsibilities listed
  • Preferred experience with ASTM standards but NOT obligatory, the attractions industry, and safety engineering
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Windows and Office environments
  • Experience with industrial hardware/software (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens) and ethernet-based distributed remote I/O systems

The salary for this role is estimated to be around $120,000 per year, based on the location and industry standards.
