 Job Description:

This programoffers a valuable opportunity for hands-on experience in theautomotive industry,
working alongside an experiencedtechnician and gaining insight into various aspects of auto bodyrepair. This will be a 30 day trial to qualify for the 18-monthTechnician DevelopmentProgram.

KeyJobResponsibilities

  • Assistin performing basic auto body repairs, including dent removal,sanding, and painting under the supervisionof
  • experiencedtechnicians.
  • Learn to use and maintain toolsand equipment properly to ensure safety and efficiency in theworkplace.
  • Participate in vehicle inspectionsto identify damages and develop repairplans.
  • Collaborate with team members tocomplete repair projects within specified timelines and qualitystandards.
  • Follow all safety protocols andprocedures to maintain a clean and organized workenvironment.

Educationand/or ExperienceRequired

  • HighSchool Diploma/GED preferred
  • Trade/Vocationalschool graduates preferred
  • Some on-the-jobexperience is preferred
  • I-CAR Gold Classpreferred

RequiredSkills andAbilities

  • Must beat least 18 years of age
  • Must be able to liftup to 50 pounds
  • Must be able to stand for longperiods of time in the repair of a vehicle
  • Mustbe able to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
  • Mustbe able to visually inspect vehicle damage in a variety of weatherconditions.
  • Must be able to use handsefficiently in handling vehicle parts.
  • Stronginterest in the automotive industry and a desire to learn anddevelop technical skills.
  • Ability to followinstructions and work effectively in a teamenvironment
  • Basic knowledge of auto body repairtechniques and tools is preferred but notrequired
  • Must be at least 18 years ofage
  • Good communication skills and a positiveattitude toward learning andproblem-solving
  • Reliable transportation tocommute to theworkplace

  • Maintaina good rapport with all supervisors andco-workers
  • Comply with all Company policies andprocedures as outlined in the employeehandbook.
