Soliant Health, a trusted healthcare staffing company, is seeking a talented and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to join a reputable school district in Clarksville, Tennessee. We are currently hiring for a full-time, onsite position for the upcoming school year. Responsibilities:

  • Assist licensed Speech-Language Pathologists in conducting assessments and screenings to evaluate students' speech and language abilities
  • Implement individualized treatment plans and interventions under the supervision of a licensed SLP
  • Provide direct therapy services to students with communication disorders, focusing on areas such as articulation, language, fluency, and social communication
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress and facilitate effective communication strategies
  • Assist in monitoring and documenting students' progress, maintaining accurate records, and preparing reports as required
  • Participate in team meetings, including Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, to contribute insights and recommendations

Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program
  • Valid Tennessee state license or ability to obtain one prior to the start of employment
  • Previous experience as an SLPA in a school setting is preferred but not required
  • Knowledge of various therapy techniques and strategies for working with students with communication disorders
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team
  • Genuine passion for helping children reach their full potential
