Job Title: Director of Systems and Software

Location: On-site in Nashville, TN

Salary: Up to $135k/year

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Systems and Software to join our team in Nashville, TN. This hands-on role involves managing and supporting a variety of enterprise applications, including Kronos or UKG Dimensions for timekeeping and JD Edwards ERP systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Oracle or SQL Server databases, report writing tools, and relational database applications. This position requires excellent leadership skills, as you will lead technology projects, manage resource schedules, prioritize tasks, and ensure timely responses to trouble tickets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage enterprise applications such as Kronos or UKG Dimensions for timekeeping and JD Edwards ERP systems.
  • Provide support for applications utilizing Oracle or SQL Server databases.
  • Utilize report writing tools and relational database applications to generate necessary reports.
  • Lead and participate in various technology projects, ensuring successful completion within set timelines.
  • Manage resource schedules, priorities, and project timelines to optimize efficiency and productivity.
  • Ensure timely and accurate responses to trouble tickets and technical support requests.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and maintain system enhancements and upgrades.
  • Develop and maintain documentation related to system configurations, processes, and procedures.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in enterprise applications and database management.
  • Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience with enterprise applications such as Kronos or UKG Dimensions for timekeeping and JD Edwards ERP systems.
  • Proficiency in supporting applications utilizing Oracle or SQL Server databases.
  • Working knowledge of report writing tools and relational database applications.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to lead and participate in technology projects.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage resource schedules, priorities, and timelines effectively.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills with a focus on providing timely and accurate technical support.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
  • Relevant certifications in enterprise applications, database management, or project management are a plus.
