The position serves as the leader of Analytics, Data Science, Systems, and Process within Inventory Management and Merchandising Planning. This individual will be responsible for systems development, advanced data modeling, simulation, process improvement, automation, and project management with a customer centric focus across all channels. Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Min 5%)

Implement and enhance upstream Supply Chain and Merchandise applications within the assortment optimization, channel clustering, demand planning, forecasting, replenishment, allocation, and store communication spaces. Apply advanced supply chain and inventory management techniques using inventory optimization, algorithms, statistics, regression, simulation, and programing language (SQL, Python, etc) to drive improvements with sales and on shelf availability thru forecasting, purchases, and advanced analytics. Drive inventory quality metrics such as on-shelf availability, in-stocks, days of supply, safety stock, excess inventory, clearance, and vendor performance with broader Supply Chain and Merchandise teams. Develop visualization, reporting, and insights within all aspects of Inventory Management thru various Business Intelligence tools Improve inventory deployment and perpetual accuracy across an omni channel environment to improve primary fulfillment acceptance to drive service and profit improvement. Lead internal project management teams to develop ROIs, prioritization, scope, and deliver Inventory and Merchandise planning initiatives. Leverage continuous improvement methodologies to improve processes and workflow management to deliver higher quality and more timely results while reducing workload. Collaborate with other Supply Chain, Merchandising, Finance, and SSC functions to ensure long-term strategic, S&OP, and tactical plans are connected, identify opportunities, and drive operational excellence. Manage new store openings, emergency response, and store communications.
Required Qualifications

Experience: Minimum 8 year’s previous experience in Supply Chain, Inventory Management, Merchandising, Analytics, or Data Science.

Education: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Supply Chain Management, Merchandising, or Applied Match preferred, with previous experience utilizing Supply Chain, Demand Planning, Forecasting, Inventory Optimization, and Assortment Planning applications. Any suitable combination of education and experience will be considered. Preferred knowledge, skills or abilities

Outstanding Leadership skills. Extensive knowledge of Retail, Supply Chain and Merchandise systems and processes. Proficiency in Advanced Data and Analytics techniques Collaborative and Customer Centric mindset Capable of working in a cross-functional, team environment Ability to travel approx. 10% of the time, Emergency travel may be required without notice based on business need.
