Information Assurance Security Specialist – Senior (Reporting):The candidate shall compile metrics and create Cybersecurity reports for Cybersecurity Task Orders (CTOs), IAVM, FISMA, Program Managed systems, as well as DoD, USCYBERCOM, NSA, DISA, and DIA compliance reporting. The contactor will manage the DOD Cyber Scorecard for USSOCOM.General duties include:
  • Provide dedicated, on-site support for Cybersecurity reporting.
  • Compile metrics and create Cybersecurity reports for CTOs, IAVM, FISMA, as well as DoD, USCYBERCOM, NSA, DISA, and DIA compliance reporting.
  • Track IAVM, CTO, and Warning Order (WARNORD) Compliance.
  • Report compliance with DoDD 8140.01, which specifies the training, certification, and management of the Department of Defense workforce conducting Cybersecurity functions in assigned duty positions.
  • Analyze trends and publish summary reports at least monthly.
  • Report metrics in support of IA compliance requirements.
  • Compile DOD cyber scorecard metrics, brief government personnel, and work with operation to correct deficiencies identified during the process.
  • Comply with the IT System Rules of Behavior and report any potential violations of the Rules of Behavior to the Government Computer Security Incident Response Team.

Here’s what you’ll need:

Associate of Science degree in Information Technology, IT Security, Network Systems Technology or related field or equivalent experience plus four (4) to seven (7) years of
directly related experience or any equivalent combination of education, experience, training and certifications.
  • Experience with the US Combatant Commands (USCENTCOM/USSOCOM) is desired.
  • DOD Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level 2 certification required.
  • Working knowledge of the DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides.
  • Must have excellent communications skill (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge and experience with DOD IA processes and policies (e.g., CJCSM 6510.01, Incident Response and other IA policies).
Active TS/SCI clearance required.Essential Functions:Work EnvironmentWork will be performed in a cubical environment inside a large facility. Some CONUS travel may be required depending on requests by the customer. May be required to attend off site meetings.Physical RequirementsSitting at desk. Phone use and PC or laptop. Filing required. May require lifting and carrying boxes of supplies or files up to 25 lbs. Extended periods of sitting while on PC/laptop or phone. Equipment and MachinesGeneral office equipment, which includes: telephone, fax machine, copier, PC/laptop, and other miscellaneous office equipment. Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite is required.AttendanceRegular attendance in accordance with established work schedule is mandatory. Work assignments dependent on requirements by the client. It is important to be able to work at least 8 hours a day for 5 days per week (Monday through Friday).Other Essential FunctionsMust put forward a professional behavior that enhances productivity and promotes teamwork and cooperation. Must be well organized with the ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously. Must be able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing. Must be able to interface effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization. Grooming and dress usually business casual, but dependent on client’s standards.
