About the Position:
Soliant Education is seeking a fully licensed School Psychologist to join a dedicated educational team in Elba, MI, for the 2024-2025 school year. This is a full-time, on-site position where the School Psychologist will work with students in grades K-12, providing assessments, counseling, and support services to enhance student learning and mental well-being. The ideal candidate will be compassionate, skilled in psycho-educational assessment, and able to collaborate effectively with teachers, administrators, and parents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological assessments to evaluate students' cognitive, emotional, and behavioral needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to create and implement individualized plans and interventions.
  • Provide counseling and support services to students to promote mental health and address behavioral concerns.
  • Assist in the development of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and Section 504 plans.
  • Provide crisis intervention and support as needed.
  • Promote a positive school climate and foster an inclusive environment for all students.

Qualifications:

  • Must be fully licensed as a School Psychologist in the state of Michigan.
  • Prior experience working with K-12 students, particularly in a school setting, preferred.
  • Strong understanding of psychological assessment, intervention strategies, and behavioral health support.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Must be available to begin ASAP for the 2024-2025 school year.
