This position is located at Bureau of the Fiscal Service, Executive Director, Administrative Resource Center branch/division as assigned. As a Financial Systems Analyst, you will be provides financial and technical analysis and conduct special projects that relate to Fiscal Service financial systems.

Duties

The following are the duties of this position at the GS-9. If you are selected at a lower grade level, you will have the opportunity to learn to perform all these duties, and will receive training to help you grow in this position.

  • Research questions, cross-check, and interpret data from various sources to obtain accurate information and provide advice on procedures.
  • Assist in conducting detailed analyses of functions and work processes in assigned program area.
  • Participate in maintaining the system. These activities include updating the system to address new requirements or meeting unique user needs. May include operation or maintenance of system interfaces.
  • Responsible for reviewing all access and system change transactions for correctness and authorization. Also responsible for compiling and disseminating statistical data to management.

A copy of transcript or list of college courses designating semester or quarter hours earned is required.
