ABOUT THE POSITION

The Financial Analyst II role is pivotal in evaluating financial outcomes to assist senior leadership in making informed tactical and strategic choices through the provision of regular reports. This individual will scrutinize project profitability to deliver proactive insights to management. Additionally, this role encompasses the reconciliation of financial records and invoices, supporting project rollouts, invoicing, and ongoing process enhancements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Contribute to the assembly of the monthly financial dossier, encompassing essential metrics, financial outcomes, and variance analysis.
  • Support the monthly invoicing process.
  • Compile, update, and assess regularly scheduled reports, occurring on weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual bases.
  • Examine financial data to generate comprehensive financial reports.
  • Assist project managers with weekly forecasting and closing activities.
  • Ensure financial documentation adheres to established policies and procedures.
  • Identify avenues for performance enhancement.
  • Execute additional accounting, financial, or administrative tasks as required.
  • Assist with the month-end closing process as necessary.
  • Extract and prepare data from various sources for upload, utilizing Excel functions (notably Vlookup), filters, formatting, etc., to manipulate data.
  • Reconcile financial accounts.
  • Support compliance with global and local annual audits.
  • Manage expense reporting through Concur.
  • Engage in special projects, ad-hoc requests, and analyses as needed.
REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
  • Post-secondary diploma or degree in accounting, business administration, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting.
  • Familiarity with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Experience with Intacct and PSA systems.
  • Proficiency in contracts, invoicing, and billing processes.
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
  • Effective communication skills for internal and external interactions.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization capabilities.
  • Ability to remain adaptable and responsive to shifting priorities.
  • Detail-oriented with exceptional analytical skills for data analysis (particularly with high-volume transactions).
  • Capacity to exercise independent judgment and problem-solving skills.
  • Legally authorized to work for any employer in the United States without sponsorship.
