Job Summary
  • We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Medical Technologist or Histology Technician/Technologist to join our team as an upper-level leader in our clinical laboratory or histology department. In this pivotal role, you will collaborate with the Director of Laboratory Services to support and manage laboratory operations or programs. You’ll help define the department’s mission, set goals, manage budgets, and ensure high performance standards to deliver outstanding patient care and laboratory outcomes. This is a fantastic opportunity to take on a meaningful leadership role where you can drive innovation and quality within our laboratory services.

Job Requirements
  • Education
    • Required: Bachelor's Degree in a related field with Medical Technologist or Histology Technologist certification OR Certified as a Histology Technician from a nationally accredited certifying agency
  • Experience
    • Required: 3 years experience in one or more disciplines of laboratory medicine Preferred: Prior Managerial/Supervisory Experience
  • Skills
    • Excellent organizational, customer relations, planning and analytical skills.
    • Strong mental and visual concentration.
    • Working knowledge of computer, computerized equipment, prev. exp, in lab, organization, team skills
    • Ability to monitor and compile data and disseminate results to multiple levels of leaders and employees.
    • Must be able to initiate and understand research related to projects; proficient in Microsoft office
  • Licensure/Certification/Registration
    • Required: Certified as a Medical Technologist (ASCP)/ Clinical Laboratory Scientist or as a Histology Technician/Technologist from a nationally recognized laboratory certifying agency
