Position Overview:

The role of the Strategic Intelligence Coordinator involves leveraging intelligence expertise to facilitate the integration of Defense and National intelligence support capabilities. This includes collection, analysis, and targeting activities, all of which contribute to comprehensive operational planning functions across various departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support mission areas by assisting in the formulation of campaign strategies, deliberate planning, crisis management, and time-sensitive planning in line with established operational frameworks.
  • Engage in red teaming and conduct feasibility assessments of intelligence operations throughout the planning process.
  • Design, implement, and report on operational plans and exercises that comply with established guidelines.
  • Collaborate with fellow intelligence and exercise planners to develop Master Scenario Event Lists (MSEL) and ensure participant engagement.
  • Foster and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues, subject matter experts, and various organizational components to meet planning and exercise objectives.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • In-depth knowledge of Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD), Countering Weapons of Mass Destruction (CWMD), Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear, and Explosives (CBRNE), or related fields.
  • Familiarity with operational planning processes and methodologies.
  • Proven ability to derive insights from complex and often incomplete information.
  • Ability to analyze trends and perspectives from various intelligence sources.
  • Capacity to work autonomously in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in collaborating with other intelligence community members to enhance information sharing and resolve analytic disputes.
  • Proficient in producing clear and comprehensive intelligence products.
  • Experience leading teams in tackling complex or critical issues.
  • Guidance in selecting and applying analytical methodologies effectively.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Adobe, and MS Teams.

Educational Background:

  • Education:
    • (REQUIRED) Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field related to WMD, CBRNE, or all-source intelligence analysis from an accredited institution.
    • (DESIRED) Certification in Joint Intelligence Planning or completion of advanced warfighting programs.
  • Experience:
    • (REQUIRED) Minimum of eight years of relevant professional experience in WMD or CBRNE analysis, with recent experience within the last two years.
    • (DESIRED) Experience in planning at higher command levels and developing operational orders and plans.

Clearance Requirements: An active TS//SCI clearance is mandatory for this position, along with a counterintelligence polygraph. U.S. citizenship is required.

Work Environment: This position requires on-site work.

Physical Requirements: Candidates must be able to perform repetitive motions, engage in audible communications during emergencies, and sit for extended periods while working on a computer.
