Are you a passionate and dedicated School Psychologist seeking a rewarding opportunity to empower students and create positive change across an entire school district?

Soliant Education is seeking qualified School Psychologists to join our team in the Wixom, MI area This full-time, on-site position for the 2024-2025 school year offers a unique chance to make a significant impact on the lives of students, teachers, and administrators across multiple schools within the district.

What You'll Do:

• Conduct individual and group psychoeducational assessments to identify students' academic, social-emotional, and behavioral needs.
• Develop and implement comprehensive interventions and support plans to address a range of student challenges, including learning disabilities, emotional and behavioral difficulties, and social-emotional learning needs.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, parents, and other professionals to create a cohesive school-wide approach to supporting student success and well-being.
• Consult with teachers and staff on effective classroom management strategies and behavior interventions.
• Provide crisis intervention and support services for students experiencing emotional or behavioral difficulties.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of school-wide initiatives to promote positive school climate, social-emotional learning, and student success.
• Analyze student data and monitor progress to evaluate the effectiveness of interventions and support plans.
• Stay current on best practices in school psychology through professional development opportunities.

Qualifications:

• Michigan State License in School Psychology.
• Prior experience working with students in a school setting is highly preferred.
• Strong clinical skills in psychoeducational assessment, intervention planning, and consultation.
• Expertise in evidence-based approaches to address learning disabilities, social-emotional learning needs, and behavioral challenges.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with students, parents, and school staff across diverse grade levels and schools within the district.
• Proficiency in data collection, analysis, and reporting.
• Understanding of child and adolescent development as it relates to academic, social-emotional, and behavioral needs.
• A commitment to equity and inclusion in the school environment.
• Passion for helping students overcome challenges and achieve success in all areas of development, while contributing to positive change at the school-wide level.
