Soliant Education is seeking a highly skilled School Psychologist to join our team in a dynamic school district. As a School Psychologist, you will play a critical role in empowering students and creating positive change across the district.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments to identify students' academic, social-emotional, and behavioral needs.
- Develop and implement evidence-based interventions and support plans to address a range of student challenges, including learning disabilities, emotional and behavioral difficulties, and social-emotional learning needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, parents, and other professionals to create a cohesive school-wide approach to supporting student success and well-being.
- Consult with teachers and staff on effective classroom management strategies and behavior interventions.
- Provide crisis intervention and support services for students experiencing emotional or behavioral difficulties.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of school-wide initiatives to promote positive school climate, social-emotional learning, and student success.
- Analyze student data and monitor progress to evaluate the effectiveness of interventions and support plans.
- Stay current on best practices in school psychology through professional development opportunities.
- Michigan State License in School Psychology.
- Prior experience working with students in a school setting is highly preferred.
- Strong clinical skills in psychoeducational assessment, intervention planning, and consultation.
- Expertise in evidence-based approaches to address learning disabilities, social-emotional learning needs, and behavioral challenges.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with students, parents, and school staff across diverse grade levels and schools within the district.
- Proficiency in data collection, analysis, and reporting.
- Understanding of child and adolescent development as it relates to academic, social-emotional, and behavioral needs.
- A commitment to equity and inclusion in the school environment.
