Responsibilities

  • Provide acquisition, technical, engineering, and programmatic support for future Integrated Command and Control (IC2) and space/ground network management systems.
  • Support design, development, integration, test, and deployment of future IC2 and space/ground network management systems. 
  • Assist in development of IC2 and space/ground network management systems architecture and standards, requirements, and software frameworks. Monitor and ensure overall system architecture adherence, and draft/update system CONOPs with stakeholders.  Aid in developing roadmaps for common software architecture frameworks which enable modular growth to satisfy current and future needs.
  • Support integration of mission management and mission data processing with the future IC2 system, as well as integration of segment-level C2 development activities into the IC2 and space/ground network management systems.
  • Deliver analysis and design support for development of space data transport architecture, CONOPs and specifications.
  • Provide relevant SIGINT expertise in support of: calibration activities, constellation modeling, data storage and dissemination, precision timing and time transfer, orbit determination, network architecture, modeling, optimization, and development of end-to-end ground solution.   
  • Support analysis and requirements definition for incorporation of future IC2 system into enterprise terrestrial data transport architecture.  

Qualifications

  • BS 12-15, MS 10-13, PhD 8-10
  • Must possess and be able to maintain a TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
  • Possess SIGINT subject matter expertise in the areas of calibration activities, constellation modeling, orbit determination, network architecture, and optimization.
  • More than 10 years’ experience with space/ground aerospace systems engineering/architecting.
  • Ability to work for direct IC customer and familiarity with that customer’s processes and organization.
  • Expertise in mission technical capabilities and system performance analysis and assessment.
  • Experience identifying user needs and gaps, identifying potential solutions, and assessing/analyzing alternatives.
  • Excellent communication/collaboration skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
