As a Supply ChainDirector, you'll be responsible for overseeing allaspects of the supply chain process, from procurement to delivery,ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and compliance withquality standards. This role requires strong leadership abilities,strategic thinking, and a deep understanding of supply chainoperations.
What you'lldo:
- Develop andimplement strategic plans to optimize the supply chain process,including procurement, logistics, inventory management, anddistribution.
- Collaborate withcross-functional teams to streamline operations and improveefficiency throughout the supply chain.
- Evaluate and select suppliers/vendors based on quality,reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Negotiatecontracts and agreements with suppliers/vendors to ensure favorableterms and conditions.
- Accountable foroverseeing and optimizing all aspects of the shipping and receivingorganization.
- Monitor key performanceindicators (KPIs) to assess supply chain performance and identifyareas for improvement.
- Implement bestpractices and innovative solutions to enhance supply chainprocesses and drive continuous improvement.
- Lead and mentor a team of supply chain professionalsspanning from Buyers to Material Controllers. Provide guidance andsupport to achieve departmental goals.
- Ensurecompliance with regulatory requirements and industry standardsrelated to supply chain operations.
- Carriesout other projects as assigned.
MinimumQualifications:
- Bachelor degree in Business Administration or SupplyChain Management, or a closely related discipline.
- 7-10 years progressive leadership experience in a SupplyChain Manufacturing environment.
- Thoroughknowledge of inventory control systems.
- Strongexperience with Microsoft Suite.
- Experiencedeveloping and monitoring key performance indicators (KPI's) andanalyzing trends to improve results
- Demonstrated problem solving, analytical andorganizational skills
- Ability to influence andbuild consensus
- APICS certificationpreferred.
- Must be a United States Citizen ora United States PermanentResident.
