Soliant Education is excited to offer an opportunity for a dynamic and dedicated General Education Teacher specializing in Math to join our team in Niles, IL. This full-time, on-site position is available for the 2024-2025 school year, focusing on middle-grade students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver engaging math instruction for middle-grade students.
  • Create lesson plans and teaching materials that align with curriculum standards and meet the needs of diverse learners.
  • Assess and evaluate student progress, providing feedback and support to help students achieve their academic goals.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and school staff to foster a positive learning environment and address student needs.
  • Maintain accurate records of student performance and communicate regularly with families regarding academic progress.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities and stay current with educational best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Education with a focus on Mathematics or a related field.
  • Valid Illinois Teaching Certification with endorsement in Middle School Mathematics.
  • Experience teaching middle school math is preferred.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to create a positive, engaging classroom environment and adapt instruction to meet diverse student needs.
