Position Summary: The PayrollCoordinator is responsible for preparing, reconciling, andprocessing weekly payroll for both the US and Canada using UKG Prosoftware.

Essential Duties andResponsibilities: 

  • Maintain payrollinformation by collecting, calculating, and enteringdata.
  • Prepare payroll import files andother manual pay calculations prior to payrollstart.
  • Verify all timesheets and wagechanges are approved prior to payrollstart.
  • Enter garnishments, child supportorders, etc. according to FLSAregulations. 
  • Process weekly payrollin a timely manner.
  • Resolve payrolldiscrepancies in a timely and accurate manner by collecting andanalyzing information.
  • Audit and reconcilepayroll weekly, utilizing the accounting team asneeded.
  • Provide payroll information byanswering questions and requests as needed to the appropriateparty.
  • Maintain payroll operations by followingCompany policies and procedures.
  • Maintainemployee confidence and protect payroll operations by keepinginformation confidential.
  • Performs other dutiesas assigned bysupervisor.

Experience and MinimumQualifications:

  • High schooldiploma or equivalent.
  • 2+ years of payrollexperience in a large organization.
  • Ability tojuggle various work activities and shift their attention from onetask to another to meet the demands of different stakeholderswithout “dropping the ball.”
  • Ability to thrivein a fast-paced, high-energy, team-oriented environment and have a“roll up your sleeves” and “win every day” mentality.
  • Hold oneself accountable and responsible whilebeing self-driven in accomplishing goals.
  • Detail-oriented and can focus on task at handby finding the most efficient and effective pathway to completion.
  • Excellent verbal and written communicationskills at all levels to communicate with internal and externalstakeholders articulately.
  • Ability tologically connect ideas, scrutinize and evaluate arguments, findinconsistencies and errors in work, solve complex problems, andengage in reflection.
  • Ability to providetimely and empathetic service through all communication channelskeeping peer and customer needs first.
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite(Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and/or Access).
  • Must be legally authorized to work in countryof employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g.,H1B status). 

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, Abilities orCertifications:

  • Workingknowledge of payroll best practices, multi-state payroll, Canadianpayroll, and federal/state regulations.
  • General math and reporting skills.
  • College coursework and/or degree.
  • Knowledge of UKG/UltiPro HRISsystem. 

TravelRequirements:

  • No travelrequired. 

Overtime/Additional Hours Requirements:

  • May be requested to work overtime onevenings and weekends dependent on businessneed. 

PhysicalRequirements:

  • Normal officeenvironment.
  • Performs indoor work in aclimate-controlled environment.
  • Sedentary work.Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligibleamount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pullor otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary workinvolves sitting most of the time.
