Position Overview

Riverside Research is seeking an Enterprise Technical Project Manager to assist in managing experimental data projects and documenting knowledge management policies for the National Air & Space Intelligence Center (NASIC) at Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio. This position will be part of a team of five providing support to the NASIC Chief Data Officer in developing and instituting enterprise knowledge management practices.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical leadership and advice to the vision, design, and oversight of complex projects focused on exploring knowledge management concepts
  • Interview data owners to develop taxonomies and knowledge models that meet enterprise standards
  • Collaborate with enterprise data leads, customers, developers, and other stakeholders to develop new enterprise level data management plans and workflow processes
  • Research leading edge concepts for data and knowledge management and recommend experiments to apply these concepts to NASIC data
  • Advise government customer in the prioritization of activities
  • Participate in planning activities such as release planning sessions and technical proposal reviews
  • Produce communication materials (schedules, briefings, etc) to keep stakeholders apprised of projects
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Current Top-Secret clearance with SCI adjudication
  • 6+ years of experience in technical project management or systems engineering experience
  • Master’s degree in information science, computer science, engineering, library science, mathematics, or a related technical field
  • Strong communication, organization, and analytical skills
  • Self-motivated, independent, detail oriented, responsible team player

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience in creating and maintaining taxonomies in the intelligence domain is an advantage
  • Experience with intelligence production
  • Experience with requirements documentation
  • Master’s degree in business, engineering, or a related technical field
  • Understanding of agile software development concepts
