Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Physical Education Teacher who is committed to promoting physical fitness, health, and overall well-being among students. Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive physical education curriculum aligned with state standards and district guidelines.

  • Utilize a variety of instructional strategies and resources to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.
  • Assess student progress regularly and provide timely feedback to support growth and achievement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Physical Education or related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Valid teaching certification/license in Physical Education (Oregon certification preferred).
  • Previous experience teaching physical education at the elementary or secondary level.
  • Strong knowledge of health, fitness, and wellness principles.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to adapt instruction to meet the diverse needs of students.
  • Commitment to promoting a positive and inclusive school culture.
