Workday HR Analyst Summary

The HR Data Analyst will be responsible for analyzing and presenting employee data to improve workforce decisions in innovative ways that drive business performance and growth.  You will work across all areas of the talent lifecycle, including headcount and workforce planning, recruiting, career development, diversity and inclusion, organizational effectiveness, engagement, company culture, and retention.

Key Responsibilities:
 
  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Develop and maintain HR reports using Workday reporting tools, Power BI, and Excel.  Conduct in-depth analyses of HR metrics to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
 
  • Data Management: Utilize SQL, Python, or R to extract, transform, and analyze data from various sources, including BigQuery.
 
  • Collaboration & Support: Work closely with HR stakeholders to understand their reporting needs and deliver insights that support HR initiatives. Provide training and support for HR teams on data tools and reporting processes.

Qualifications:
 
  • 3+ years of experience in HR analytics or a similar data-focused role.
  • Proficiency in Workday reporting, Power BI, and advanced Excel functions.
  • Strong SQL skills for data querying and management.
  • Experience with Python or R for data analysis and visualization.
  • Familiarity with BigQuery for data handling and reporting.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and verbal communication skills.

Additional Details:
 
  • Engagement: 3+ Month Contract
  • Start Date: Immediate
  • Location: Remote
  • Hourly Compensation: $55.00 - $60.00 based on skills and experience 
  • Employment Status: Corp-to-Corp or Employment sponsorship is not being offered
