Job Description:
Soliant Education is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our team in Boston, Massachusetts. The selected candidate will work with students in grades 2-4, providing specialized instruction in reading and math. This position offers an excellent opportunity to support the academic growth and success of elementary students with diverse learning needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement specialized reading and math instruction tailored to the needs of students
  • Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to ensure the integration of specialized instruction within the curriculum
  • Monitor student progress and adjust instruction as needed
  • Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and interventions
  • Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding student progress and goals

Qualifications:

  • Valid Elementary Teaching License with Specialization in Reading and Math
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or related field
  • Previous experience working with elementary-level students preferred
  • Strong knowledge of reading and math intervention strategies
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
