3rd Shift: 5:00pm-5:30am (Continental /Block Schedule)

PayRate: $36-40/hr.DOE +$0.45/hr. shiftdifferential

*** Training will be on dayshift.***

 

EssentialFunctions:

  • Performpreventative maintenance on PLC systems
  • Program or perform repairs on PLC systems
  • Perform preventative maintenance or repairs on moreadvanced production equipment as needed
  • Perform breakdown analysis
  • Performelectrical wiring and motor controls troubleshooting andrepair
  • Maintain PLC networks
  • Oversee or perform general housekeeping
  • Upgrade production lines with new/upgradedequipment/technology
  • Direct activities ofoutside contractors working on assigned line
  • Change line for package changeovers
  • Understand and complete PLC control updates and revisionsto support V curve performance
  • Able totroubleshoot and write code in Ladder Logic and or functionblock
  • Able to troubleshoot and performpreventative maintenance on Device Net
  • Trackall temporary repairs made in logic via CMMS/EXCEL and followthrough to bring equipment back to basic conditions
  • Able to accomplish tasks with minimal guidance
  • Enforce GMP, safety, and audit standards
  • Work independently under limited supervision(self-management)
  • Meticulous Documentation ofwork schedule and work tasks completed

 

Required Skillsand Competencies:

  • Pass technical assessment addressing job-criticalmaintenance knowledge areas
  • Experience withbasic electrical systems (e.g., starters, fuses, contacts,relays).
  • Experience with electrical systems(installation, frequency drive, troubleshooting)
  • Experience with electronics (e.g., level probes, flowmeters, drives/VFDs, etc.).
  • Experience withPLC (e.g., industrial maintenance, computer control systems,etc.).
  • Experience with product manuals (e.g.,reading and applying knowledge to make repairs).
  • Experience with schematics (e.g., electrical blueprintswith switches, starters, maps, relays).
  • Experience with troubleshooting (e.g., diagnostics,problem solving, etc.).

 

ProficiencyLevel:

  • Intermediateto Advance

 

Education andExperience:

  • BS inControl Engineering or equivalent demonstratedskill 

 

Working Conditions:

  • Physical-Continuously standing or walking.Regular requirements to lift/handle/carry material or equipment ofmoderate weight.
  • Visual/Sensory-This positionrequires regular need to give moderate attention with one or twosenses at a time.
  • Work Environment- Work andenvironment are very repetitive.
  • MentalStress- There is pronounced pressure from deadlines, productionquotas, accuracy or similar demands.
