Help Desk Technician

The Help Desk Technician will provide and perform a wide range of systems administration and life cycle management tasks to support and sustain IT networks as directed by the Government IT Lead.
This position requires a current Top Secret clearance and U.S. citizenship.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the entry point for the Program Office by receiving, logging, resolving and/or escalating requests for service.
- Assist with system account and system token requests.
- Provide phone and desk side support to the Program Office user base.
- Develop plans and dates associated with tasks and provide status updates as required by the Government Program Manager.
- Serve as the NMCI POC to coordinate the acquisition and tech refresh of NMCI assets.
- Assist with system account and system token requests.
- Provide Assured File Transfer (AFT) capabilities across multiple classified networks following documented policies and procedures.
- Coordinate with other teams to assist in the installation of infrastructure hardware and software.
- Communicate daily issues to include, but not limited to, network outages, system failures, or noncompliance in accordance with applicable government regulations to cybersecurity staff and stakeholders.
- Adhere to IS security laws and regulations to support functional operations for the network environment.
- Support COMSEC network devices.
Qualifications
- Minimum Requirements:
- Education / Certifications: One-year related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required.
- High School diploma
- Possess DoD Approved Baseline Certification as Information Assurance Technical Level I in accordance with DoD 8570.01-M/8140 (i.e. Security+ CE).

- Experience:
- Demonstrated IAT Level I experience supporting network enterprise (NE) knowledge and skills.
