Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Pasadena, California. The role involves providing expert speech and language therapy to students, fostering their communication skills and supporting their overall academic achievement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of speech and language skills.
  • Develop and implement personalized individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with communication disorders.
  • Deliver targeted therapy services in both individual and group settings.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to enhance student outcomes.
  • Monitor, record, and adjust therapy plans based on ongoing student assessments.
  • Participate actively in IEP meetings, providing professional input and recommendations.
  • Remain current with industry advancements and best practices in speech-language pathology.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Valid California State License in Speech-Language Pathology (issued by the California Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology Board).
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
  • California Clinical or Rehabilitative Services Credential in Language, Speech, and Hearing (or eligibility for this credential).
  • Experience working in a school environment is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
