Job Summary:

Soliant is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team as a contract provider for a school district in the Pasadena, TX area. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for providing speech and language therapy services to students with communication disorders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech and language therapy services to students with communication disorders, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of student progress and service delivery.
  • Evaluate students with suspected communication disorders and make recommendations for speech and language services as needed.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive written reports of observations, assessment results, and recommendations within established state guidelines.
  • Develop and implement speech and language goals in Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
  • Collaborate with other education staff to develop integrated goals for students with multiple or other disabilities.
  • Consult with school staff and parents on the inclusion of materials to support speech and language development.
  • Participate in the Medicaid billing process for school-based services as directed.

Requirements:

  • Current Texas SLP license.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with students with communication disorders in a school setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other education staff and parents.
