Responsibilities

  • Assist with preparing AVIAN for achieving Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC), including but not limited to:
    • gap assessments,
    • documentation,
    • and maintaining current knowledge of changes to program.
  • Maintain enterprise security and take proactive cybersecurity measures.
  • Protect AVIAN’s computers, networks, and data against a myriad of threats, such as security breaches, computer viruses, or attacks by cyber-criminals.
  • Identify and resolve any security vulnerabilities to company systems.
  • Work with the IT Manager to develop AVIAN IT strategy to include;
    • Space estimates,
    • Hardware and software requirements,
    • and infrastructure resources.
  • Provide technical expertise to help manage, install, and maintain AVIAN’s IT infrastructure including computer hardware, software, networks, and all electronic devices.
  • Configure, assemble, manage updates, and install software on workstations, printers, and network servers.
  • Responsible for the configuration management of IT documentations to include;
    • Emergency response plan,
    • Process documentation,
    • Employee resources
    • IT metrics and data
  • Provide IT and Audio/Visual (A/V) assistance for meetings at AVIAN headquarters to requesting employees and/or customers.
  • Maintain the IP-based phone system.
  • Help manage scheduled backups of corporate data.
  • Research and make recommendations on;
    • future hardware and software upgrades,
    • new technologies/trends,
    • and improvements to systems and network capabilities.
  • Provide mentoring, training, and overall assistance to AVIAN employees as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors in Information Technology or other IT related-degree/certifications.
  • Equivalent combination of education, professional training, or work experience.
  • Due to the sensitive nature of customer-related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required
  • The ability to obtain and/or maintain a Secret Clearance may be required for this role.
