Job Title: Information Research Scientist

Imagine One Technology & Management is seeking an Information Research Scientist to support the U.S. Navy in Lexington Park, Maryland. This position is contingent on the award of the associated work to the Imagine One Team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct research in computer and information science, developing solutions to problems in computer hardware and software.
  • Research emerging technologies that fit current Navy standards and architecture, presenting potential recommendations.
  • Develop various assessments, analyses, and studies, including feasibility studies, gap analyses, and roadmaps.
  • Research, analyze, develop, integrate, and apply integrated model-based virtual environments.
Requirements:
  • Qualifying candidates must possess one of the following required experience qualifications:
    • Minimum of five years of experience carrying out duties similar to the functions above.
    • NAVEDTRA 43469 Watchstation 304 - Information Assurance Manager.
    • NAVEDTRA 43469 Watchstation 303 - Information Assurance Technician Level III.
Education:
  • Qualifying candidates must possess one of the following required educational qualifications:
    • Master's degree in fields of Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Mathematics, Data Science, Physics, or related derivative degrees.
    • NEC 741A Information System Security Manager.
    • CISSP.
    • CISM.
    • CASP+.
    • GSLC.
Security Requirements:
  • Candidates must have U.S. Citizenship.
  • Candidates must have an ACTIVE DoD Secret Clearance (or higher).
