Summary:

The Monitor Technician is under the supervision of alicensed professional. They are responsible for monitoring patientson cardiac telemetry monitoring and continuously watch and recordschanges in rhythm. Maintains and records all activities for theshift. Performs 12 lead EKG's. On-going communication withphysician and patient care providers. The telemetry tech isresponsible for cleaning the telemetry monitoring equipment withthe appropriate disinfectant per hospital policy and reporting anymaintenance issues. They are also responsible for ordering suppliesrelated to cardiac telemetry monitoring.
