Description:

You will be the Subcontract Manager supporting the Long Range Anti-Ship Missile (LRASM) Production Global Supply Chain Team. The program is rapidly expanding to support the needs of the warfighter.


What You Will Be Doing
As the Subcontract Manager, you will have full ownership of your major subcontractors from the onset of requirements through the delivery of hardware. Your responsibilities will include:
• Lead/participate in Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) as an individual contributor.
• Manage the performance of subcontracted hardware procurement through multiple suppliers including oversight of sub-tier suppliers.
• Work closely with Engineering, Production Operations, Quality, Production Planning and Control on hardware development and delivery.
• Have responsibility for all risk and affordability action to ensure Lockheed Martin is meeting Customer expectations.
• Domestic travel is anticipated.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
- Ability to obtain a secret clearance
- Negotiation experience
- Ability to interact with both internal and external customers
- Knowledge of FAR/DFAR requirements
- Experience working in a collaborative/team environment
- Ability to analyze and organize supplier data for analysis purposes
- Must be able to work autonomously as necessary with reduced oversight
- Prior experience with procurement, supply chain and/or subcontracts
- Working knowledge of standard US DOD contract types
Desired Skills:
- Truth in Negotiations (TINA) experience
- SAP / Procure to Pay (P2P) experience
- IPT / SMT leadership experience
- Ability to make strategic decisions while delivering results
- Cross-functional Knowledge of Supplier Quality and Engineering as they relate to subcontract management
- Good verbal and written communication skills
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
