Project Manager Restoration Construction Professional

We are excited to announce a partnership with a leading restoration construction company in Florida.

The Project Manager Restoration Construction Professional calculates preliminary job budgets and prepares formal job bids by interpreting blueprints, performing take-offs, and estimating job costs. They interface with clients and their representatives to ensure that technical specifications and designs are feasible and consistent with industry standards.

As the leader of jobsites, they oversee team members to achieve safe and efficient job completion.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Review project proposals to determine budget, time frames, staffing requirements, and resource allocation.
  • Create work plans and assign duties, responsibilities, scope authority to project staff; award subcontracts and issue purchase orders.
  • Arrange permits, drawings, and submittals required; negotiate and execute change orders.
  • Prepare project reports for management, clients, and others.
  • Provide technical advice and resolve problems with project personnel, modifying schedules or plans as needed.
  • Monitor and review job costs daily/weekly and discuss with project staff.
  • Oversee project closeout: final quantities, final change orders, and final releases from agreements.
  • Obtain a letter of acceptance.

Qualifications

  • Three years' experience in commercial restoration construction project management.
  • A working knowledge of commercial restoration construction documentation.
  • General contracting knowledge.
  • The ability to write and review contracts.
  • Experience with Xactimate software.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Construction, Engineering, or Business is preferred.
  • Familiarity with mold remediation, water damage restoration, fire damage restoration processes, and theories.
  • Leadership techniques, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.
  • Timely results of high quality and accuracy.
  • Imagination and strong problem-solving skills with a technical orientation.
  • Carefully weighing decisions based on expertise to avoid unpredictable risks.
  • Identifying, correcting, and reporting unsafe conditions according to company and OSHA standards.
  • IICRC, FSRT, AMR, WRT Certifications are advantageous.

Annual Salary: $62,000 - $90,000 DOE
