Program Analyst

KBR is seeking a Program Analyst to provide direct mission support to the Army’s Search Track Acquire Radiate Eliminate (STARE) Project Office. This position is located at Redstone Arsenal, AL. The primary duty is to serve as a Program Analyst for the STARE Project Manager. The Program Analyst will provide support across the STARE portfolio, which includes efforts for future Army Air and Missile Defense sensors. Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Provides support to the STARE Project Manager in program progress reviews and other performance reviews. May also assist in creating/briefing higher level executive agencies or program summary reports.
  • Analyzes program activities such as acquisition program planning, management techniques, or documentation requirements.
  • Prepare information necessary for assigned projects, including researching, collecting, analyzing, and compiling data and information; prepare reports and present information.
  • Aids in developing and implementing strategies to achieve program objectives safely and within agreed time, cost, technical, quality and other performance criteria.
  • Supports the STARE Project Manager in executing his/her mission as single point of integrative responsibility needed to ensure the project office is managed effectively to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Liaise with higher headquarters, governmental organizations, stakeholders, and subordinate organizations to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Manage operations for the STARE Project Manager front office.
  • Compose and prepare a variety of correspondence, reports, and other materials.
  • Review documents and communications on behalf of the Project Manager for content and accuracy.
  • Assist in the preparation and execution of meetings; analyze content to extract actionable insights and requirements.
  • Provide support in strategic communications and organizational strategy.
  • Review operating practices and procedures to determine whether improvements can be made in areas such as workflow and reporting procedures.

Required Skills:

  • Active DoD Secret Security Clearance
  • Bachelor’s Degree and 4+ years of related work experience.
  • Strong knowledge of office management systems and procedures.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, MS Teams and SharePoint.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under tight deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Professional demeanor and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility to work outside regular business hours when necessary.

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with US Army, OSD and DoD organizations and staff processes desired.
  • Familiarity with the DoD Acquisition process, standards and requirements desired.
