What You Will Be Doing

As the Mechanical Engineer your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
* design and complete modifications on various military ground and maritime platforms in support of our Special Operations Forces Support Activity (SOFSA) Program in Lexington, KY.
* While the primary focus of this position is on ground and maritime vehicles, support may also be required on other vehicles/aircraft platforms supported by the contract. Scope generally involves modification and component integration (primarily electrical and mechanical) into various platforms based on customer specifications.
* This position will be responsible for:
* Collaborating with lead engineers, project engineers, and systems and design teams to ensure systems meet the customer needs and the resulting products operate as intended.
- Development of component installation, assembly, and part designs and drawings for integration of equipment, including: mechanical systems, armor, radios, antennas, transmitters, power equipment, servers systems and components, etc.
* Contribute to customer design reviews.
* Document and process engineering releases and changes.
* The successful candidate will be forward thinking, flexible, motivated, dedicated, detail-focused, team-oriented, and capable of multi-tasking.
