JOB SUMMARY
Vaco Technology is currently seeking a Network Administrator for a 6M C2H opportunity that is located in Frisco, TX 75034 (onsite 2-3 days per week).  The Network Administrator will ensure smooth operations, stability, and security of the Network Infrastructure, focusing on Cisco / Palo Alto Networks and including Routers / Switches, Firewalls, and Associated NW Software.
  • Install / Configure / Maintain Network Devices – Routers / Switches / Firewalls / WAP, etc.
  • Monitor Network Performance – Identify / Troubleshoot Network Issues
  • Implement / Maintain Network Security Measures to Protect Against Cyber Threats
  • Perform Routine Network Maintenance – Patching / Backups / Updates, etc.
  • Document Network Configurations / Procedures
  • Assist in Network Design Capacity Planning
  • Collaborate with IT Teams to Resolve Complex Issues
  • Provide Technical Support to Users Regarding Network-Related Issues

JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Certifications – Network+ / CCNA / MCSA, etc.
  • Network Administrator – Cisco Nexus / Catalyst / Call Manager / ASA / Meraki (CMNO / ECMS) / Palo Alto / Routers / Switches / Firewalls / WAP / Windows Server / Linux, etc.
  • Install / Configure / Support Network – Routers / Proxy Servers / Switches / WAN Accelerators / DNS / DHCP
  • Firewalls (ASA / Meraki / Palo Alto) – Update / Maintain Virus Protection Software / Security Systems
  • Network Services / Networks – TCP/IP / OSPF / EIGRP, etc.
  • Network Security – Patching / Updates / Hardening
  • Administer / Support / Configure – LAN/WAN / WLAN / VLAN / VPN / Switches / Firewall Systems
  • Azure Cloud Networking – AAD / Azure VM / Azure VNet, etc.
