Position Summary:

  • Responsibilities

    • Lead Creative Direction: Set the visual tone and style across all brand touchpoints, including digital, print, packaging, literature, advertisements, and in-store displays.
    • Hands-On Design Work: Execute design tasks using tools such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign, from concept to final delivery.
    • Brand Consistency: Maintain and elevate brand identity, ensuring cohesion across digital assets, physical products, and marketing materials.
    • Collaborate with Marketing: Work closely with the marketing team to translate strategic objectives into compelling visual assets.
    • Oversee Photo and Video Assets: Direct photo and video shoots to capture imagery that resonates with Ultralox’s brand and audience.
    • Trend Awareness: Stay current with design trends, tools, and techniques, incorporating fresh ideas into creative strategies.
    • Contractor Management: Responsible for hiring, training, and guiding freelance designers or external agencies when needed.

    Qualifications

    • Experience: 10+ years in a creative role, preferably within the architecture, building materials, or related industries.
    • Portfolio: Demonstrated expertise in various design disciplines, with a portfolio showcasing branding, digital, and print work.
    • Technical Proficiency: Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign). Familiarity with photo editing and video content creation is a plus.
    • Leadership Skills: Ability to lead projects independently and train contract designers as needed.
    • Deadline-Driven: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
    • Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, comfortable presenting and defending creative concepts.
    • Creative Vision: Ability to interpret briefs and develop innovative, cohesive visuals that communicate our brand effectively.
