As a Lead Technical Program Manager within the Consumer and Community Banking team, you will drive the successful delivery of complex technology projects and programs that will help reaching business goals across the firm. Leveraging your deep knowledge of technical principles, practices, and theories is essential for developing innovative solutions, while simultaneously effectively managing resources, budgets, and high-performing teams. Your strong analytical reasoning and adaptability skills will enable you to navigate through ambiguity and change, ensuring that technology initiatives align with business goals. With advanced communication and stakeholder management abilities, you will foster productive working relationships and influence decision-making to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes. As a subject matter expert, you will contribute to the development of operational plans and risk management strategies, ensuring the highest quality and professionalism in service delivery. Also As an experienced professional in Technical Project Execution, you thrive at managing complex technology programs that have far-reaching implications for clients, employees, and stakeholders throughout the firm.
Job responsibilities

  • Develops and executes comprehensive project plans, incorporating technical requirements, resource allocation, and timelines to ensure on-time delivery of technology solutions
  • Identifies and mitigate risks, proactively addressing potential roadblocks and implementing contingency plans to maintain project and program momentum
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product, and business stakeholders, to define program scope, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with overall business goals
  • Utilizes advanced analytical reasoning to assess program performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement data-driven optimizations to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
  • Champions the adoption of agile methodologies and technical solutions, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation within the team
  • Utilizes Run the bank (RTB) / Run the Engine (RTE) management frameworks for public and private clouds
  • Collaborates between some of the world's leading Developers, QA, Application Owners, Architecture, Finance, and Product teams
  • Influences design, development, test and deploy for exciting applications and cloud-native micro services
  • Transforms business processes and user experience for JPM's Customer Acquisition and Marketing Platform
  • Sets objectives and scope, develop work plans, and coordinate activities across multiple project work streams
  • Builds executive level reporting and present to senior leadership audience


Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in technical program management, leading complex technology projects and programs in a large organization
  • Demonstrated proficiency in applying analytical reasoning and problem-solving techniques to break down business, technical, or operational objectives into manageable tasks and activities
  • Proven track record of work experience as a project manager but has prior experience as an architect or software developer.
  • Experience and knowledge of public and private cloud computing.
  • Practical cloud deployment experience in AWS Cloud services and native data technologies such as AWS EMR, Lambda, MSK, RDS, Document DB, EC2, EKS.
  • Solution definition and problem-solving skills.
  • Good understanding of business processes in productized organization.
  • Understand and adopt to priority shifts while managing multiple work streams.
  • In-depth knowledge of the financial services industry and their IT systems.
  • Strong communication & Presentation skills with ability to articulate technical matters to a broad audience and leadership team and influence without authority on priorities.
  • Knowledgeable about all phases of the software development life cycle and solution delivery for web, client-server, and cloud-based systems.


Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Prior experience as an Application or an Infrastructure Engineer is a plus
  • Good knowledge of modern software engineering principles and best practices.
  • Certificates to demonstrate knowledge and competency. AWS certifications as Solutions Architect and Cloud Practitioner
  • Experience working with Tableau dashboards, working knowledge of Python is a big plus
  • A Bachelor's or post-graduate degree in IT, computer science, software engineering, or equivalent.
  • Strong Knowledge with JIRA, JIRA Align and Confluence, Proficient in MS Excel (Macros, V-Lookup, Pivots) and Working knowledge of Python or other similar scripting languages.
  • Build and maintain custom reporting in Tableau.
