Position Overview: We are seeking a talented Junior Graphic Designer with experience in the fashion or clothing industry, loungewear and intimates is a plus. The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for detail, a passion for grahpics, illustration and design. Must have the ability to create visually appealing designs that align with our products and license guidelines. Knowledge of packaging design and licensing is a plus. The role requires proficiency in pattern design and a good understanding of current fashion trends. The candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, be a team player, and be willing to learn.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and refine patterns for various apparel items, ensuring they meet design and license specifications and standards.
Assist in the creation of packaging designs for our products, ensuring they are both functional and aesthetically pleasing.
Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas for new designs and collections.
Stay updated with the latest trends in fashion and graphic design to ensure our products remain current and competitive.
Prepare and present design concepts to the team and make revisions as needed.
Work closely with the production team to ensure designs are accurately translated into finished products.
Assist in the creation of marketing materials, including lookbooks, social media graphics, and website content.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Fashion Design, or a related field.
2-4 years of experience in graphic design, preferably in the fashion or clothing industry.
Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
Strong understanding of patterns and placement graphics.
Excellent attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Must be a team player and willing to learn.
Not necessary but a plus:
Experience with packaging design is a plus
Knowledge of licensing processes and requirements is a plus.
