Summary


This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), a student loan payment reimbursement program. You must meet specific individual eligibility requirements in accordance with VHA policy and submit your EDRP application within four months of appointment. DUTIES:

  • The Chief of Urology is responsible for participating in and managing all aspects of a Urology surgery program, which includes clinical, administrative, academic, and research components, patient satisfaction, patient care delivery, patient education, health care outcomes, and appropriate interface with all other services of the VAMC as related to the urology care program.
  • Responsible for the overall management, planning, organization, direction, and control of all programs of a Urology Surgery Program.
  • Surgical service with outpatient, inpatient, and emergency consultation.
  • In addition, the service does outpatient procedures in the clinic. The chief also shares in the direct patient care responsibilities of the service.

Work Schedule: 08:00 am - 4:30 pm
