Principal Analytics Consultant
Join this leading healthcare provider as a Principal Analytics Consultant in our Analytics and Information Management department based in Chicago. This full-time role offers and exciting chance to leverage your expertise in business data and market knowledge to construct forecasts, develop tactical plans, and lead cross-functional teams. You’ll utilize cutting-edge reporting tools to analyze financial and health data, shaping strategic recommendations that influence health care expenditures and outcomes.
As a Principal Analytics Consultant, you’ll have the opportunity to shape our strategic vision and drive tangible results in a collaborative and supportive environment. Required Skills & Experience Bachelor’s degree and 7 years of experience in health care services, statistical analysis or insurance industry economics OR 10 years of experience in health care services, statistical analysis, or insurance industry economics 4 years of experience in data analysis and information reporting relating to healthcare data, including pharmacy Contributes to the development of functional strategy Leads project teams to achieve milestones and objectives Desired Skills & Experience Analytical and conceptual thinking, anticipates implications and trends, develops contingency plans, identifies core issues in complex situations Effective communication and results oriented, communicates complex issues clearly to diverse audiences and secures support for initiatives Proactive learning and teamwork, continuously updates knowledge and takes responsibility for personal development What You Will Be Doing
40% Construct forecasts and strategical plans based on business data and market knowledge 30% Produce datasets and reports for analysis using system reporting tools 30% create specifications for reports and analysis based on business needs and required or available data elements Daily Responsibilities 30% Provide consultation to users 40% Lead cross-functional teams 30% Analyze complex business problems
