Job Description
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal environmental regulations, including air quality, water quality, waste management, and hazardous materials.Environmental Programs: Develop, implement, and manage environmental compliance programs and initiatives to reduce the company's environmental footprint.Audits and Inspections: Conduct regular environmental audits and inspections to identify potential compliance issues and implement corrective actions.Reporting: Prepare and submit environmental reports and documentation to regulatory agencies as required.Training and Education: Provide training and education to employees on environmental compliance requirements and best practices.Sustainability Initiatives: Support and promote sustainability initiatives within the organization to enhance environmental performance.Incident Management: Respond to and manage environmental incidents, ensuring appropriate corrective actions are taken and reported.

The Successful Applicant
Bachelor's Degree Degree in; Occupational Safety, Safety Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field preferred5-10+ years of combined experience in EHS/regulatory in a manufacturing environmentExperience with ISO 14001 and any sort of environmental auditing is highly desirable Air regulation and permitting experienceKnowledge of OSHA requirements and Federal/State EHS regulationsWWTP operator license 4M or higher or have capability to obtain it.EHS Professional Certification is a plusExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProficient computer skills
