A Day in the Life:

The typical day is... atypical. You might be leading the engineering team in the development, implementation, and maintenance of Tory Burch systems or collaborating with product design, merchandising, and other cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver technology solutions that enhance the DC Operations. You will be applying your strong technical expertise, excellent leadership skills, and passion for innovation in the retail industry to make life better for our warehouse operations teams. The key responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to the following:
Technical Leadership:Lead the engineering team in designing, developing, and maintaining warehouse management and ASRS systems.Oversee the integration of advanced technologies into distribution center operations, aiming for continuous improvement and optimization.Project Management:Manage projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business goals.Build data and process governance modelsCollaborate with cross-functional teams, including merchandising, supply chain, and finance, to gather requirements and deliver solutions.Data Engineering:Design and maintain scalable data architectures to support warehouse management systems.Ensure data quality, reliability, and availability to drive business decisions.Work closely with data analysts and data engineers to deliver actionable insights from data.System Optimization:Continuously evaluate and optimize existing systems for efficiency and effectiveness.Stay informed of industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation.Team Development:Mentor and guide team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing feedback to team members.Stakeholder Engagement:Work closely with stakeholders across the organization to understand their needs and challenges.Act as a strategic partner to senior leadership, providing insights and recommendations.Quality Assurance:Ensure high-quality, reliable, and scalable solutions that meet business requirements.Establish and enforce best practices for coding, testing, and deployment.

To Land This Role:
8+ years of experience in software and data engineering, with a focus on warehouse management systems.Experience with WM and ASRS software.WMi - Manhattan's iSeries toolset strongly preferredStrong knowledge of Distribution Center operations and systems.Exposure to a minimum of one modern programming language, platform, and/or technology such as Python, Java, C#, and SQL.RPG as needed for WMiBachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fieldProven track record of leading and managing engineering teams in a retail environment.Offshore development and vendor management experience a plusExcellent project management and organizational skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience in Retail Fashion industry.Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and its tools, such as Big Query, Cloud Storage, Dataflow, and Pub/Sub.Expertise in data engineering and analytics, including data modeling, ETL processes, data warehousing, and big data technologies.
